Contest Rules
The Bow Valley Insider Awards is a Readers' Choice contest recognizing local businesses in Banff and Canmore. By voting, you agree to the following rules.
Eligibility
Voting is open to the public. No purchase is necessary to vote or to be nominated.
Voting period
Voting opens August 1, 2026 and closes September 15, 2026. Votes submitted after the deadline will not be counted.
How voting works
You may cast one vote per category. Once a vote is submitted for a category it is final and cannot be changed. Write-in nominations are allowed where indicated and are subject to the same one-vote-per-category limit.
Fair voting
Automated, bulk, or fraudulent voting is prohibited. Bow Valley Insider reserves the right to disqualify votes it determines were not cast by genuine individual readers.
Results
Winners will be announced on Bow Valley Insider following the close of voting. Vote counts and standings are not made public during the voting period.
